粽子的来历英文版简化

Once upon a time, in a small village, I was helping my grandma make dumplings. She told me a story about the origin of these dumplings, known as "zongzi" in Chinese. She said it all started during the Dragon Boat Festival, back in 278 BC.
A man named Qu Yuan, who was a loyal minister, was betrayed and exiled by the king. Heartbroken, he drowned himself in the river. The people of the village were so sad that they raced out in boats to search for him. They threw rice into the river to keep the fish away from his body.
Years later, the festival was established to honor Qu Yuan. They wrapped rice in bamboo leaves and shaped them into dumplings, which we now call zongzi.
So, there you have it, the story of zongzi, a symbol of loyalty and the spirit of unity.
