嗨，上周有个客人问我怎么在邮件中使用量英语。这事儿我还真有话要说。我自己踩过的坑是，有时候量英语用得不好，邮件里就变得怪怪的，感觉不那么正式，也不够专业。
比如，2023年我在上海某商场看到一家店的促销广告，写着“50% off all items!”, 这就是量英语用得不太恰当。一般来说，我们会说“50% off”或者“All items are 50% off”，这样听起来更地道。
再比如说，如果是在商务邮件中，你可以说：“We are offering a 10% discount on all orders over $100.” 这样的表达既简洁又专业。
总之，量英语用得对，邮件读起来就顺眼多了。反正你看着办，用得顺口就好。我还在想这个问题，毕竟表达得体很重要嘛。

量这个词在英语中可以翻译为 "quantity" 或 "amount"。具体用哪个词取决于你要描述的量是可数的还是不可数的。
- 如果是可数的物品，比如苹果、书等，用 "quantity"： - "I need a large quantity of apples." - "The quantity of books in the library is impressive."
- 如果是不可数的物质，比如水、牛奶等，用 "amount"： - "The amount of water in the bottle is limited." - "Please add a small amount of sugar to the tea."
此外，"amount" 也可以用于表示一定程度的量，比如 "amount of time"、"amount of money" 等： - "I spent a considerable amount of time on this project." - "The amount of money he earned is not enough to support his family."
