注重的英语表达

嘿，老兄，我最近在一个英语角帮忙，那真是个热闹的地方，老外一堆，大家交流得挺high的。我记得有一次，一个外国小哥问我：“How do you like the food here?” 我当时心里想，这简单啊，我就说：“It's fantastic! I've been to many places, but this one is a real treat, especially the spicy Sichuan dishes. Last year, I had a big feast with my friends in Chengdu. We had a table of ten and we devoured about a thousand spicy dishes in one evening!” 他们听完后都惊呆了，哈哈。
对了，说起表达，有一次我帮一个朋友改写一段简历，他本来写的是：“I have a strong work ethic.” 我说，这样太普通了，咱们得来点特别的。我改成了：“My work ethic is so fierce, it could single-handedly bring a dead computer back to life!” 他看后乐坏了，觉得这样更生动。
还有一次，我教一个学生如何描述自己的兴趣爱好。他说他喜欢打篮球。我就教他这样表达：“I'm a basketball enthusiast, the kind of guy who can shoot three-pointers while skydiving!” 这样是不是更有范儿？
当然了，有时候我也觉得自己英语表达能力还不够好。比如有一次我参加一个国际会议，轮到我发言，我紧张得忘了用词，只能说：“Well, this is a bit difficult for me to express in English. Let me see...” 真是尴尬。
，扯远了，总之就是，注重英语表达真的很重要，有时候一个小技巧就能让你的表达更加出彩。不过，别忘了，最重要的还是多练习，多在实际场合中去运用。
