大学英语对话范文

A: 嘿,小李,你英语怎么样?
B: 还行吧,不过有时候觉得挺难的。
A: 是啊,英语确实有点儿棘手。我记得上周刚处理一个对话练习,挺有意思的。
B: 是吗?能给我举个例子吗?
A: 当然可以。比如说,你可以这样开始:“How are you doing today?”
B: ,那对方可能会回答:“I'm doing well, thank you. And you?”
A: 对,就是这个问题。之前遇到过,对方就是用这个句型来回应。
B: 那如果我想要继续对话,可以说什么?
A: 你可以说:“Not bad, thanks. And you?”
B: ,那对方又会怎么回答?
A: 可能会说:“I'm doing okay, but a bit busy with work today.”
B: 哈这挺简单的。那如果我想结束对话,怎么说?
A: 你可以说:“It was nice talking to you. Have a good day!”
A: Hey, have you ever had a conversation in English that really surprised you with how smooth it went?
B: Oh, absolutely! I remember this one time, it was during my second year of college. I was at this international conference in Shanghai, and I had to give a presentation on my research.
A: Wow, that's impressive. How did it go?
B: It went surprisingly well, considering I was nervous as hell. I had prepared for weeks, but I was still not sure if I could pull it off. The audience was a mix of people from all over the world, so it was a bit intimidating.
A: Did you feel like your English was up to the task?
B: To be honest, I was a bit worried about my accent and grammar. But as soon as I started, I got into the flow. I was using a lot of the phrases and vocabulary I had learned in my advanced English classes.
A: What about the technical aspects? Did you have any problems with pronunciation or understanding the audience?
B: Not really. I used simple English and kept the sentences short. Also, I had some visuals to help explain my points. And the audience was really supportive; they nodded and smiled when I was making my points, which helped keep my confidence up.
A: That's great. Did you get any feedback after your presentation?
B: Yes, I did. The organizers gave me a form to fill out, and they were really positive. They said my pronunciation was clear and that I had a good command of the language. They even suggested that I could publish my research in an international journal.
A: So, what did you think of the whole experience?
B: It was a mix of excitement and relief. I was really proud of myself for getting through it without major hiccups. And it made me realize that with enough preparation and confidence, even I can communicate effectively in English.
A: It's amazing how one presentation can be a turning point. Did it change your approach to learning English?
B: Definitely. It made me see that practice and exposure to the language really pay off. And I started to look for more opportunities to practice, like joining English-speaking clubs on campus and attending more conferences.
A: That's awesome. I'm glad to hear it. It's always inspiring to see how one experience can lead to personal growth.
