请英语怎么拼读

记得有一次在英语角，我教一个刚学英语的小伙子怎么正确拼读单词。他看着那些字母，皱着眉头，像是面对一道无解的谜题。
"Look, 'p' sounds like 'p' in 'pen,' and 'l' sounds like 'l' in 'love,' so 'pl' together is 'pluh.' Then, 'a' in 'cat' makes it 'uh,' so 'pluh-a' is 'pluh-uh.'"
